Simple Plum Cake Recipe

7 oz of melting chocolate
5 oz of boneless prunes
4.5 oz of sugar
4.5 oz of flour
2 oz of butter
1 glass of brandy
4 eggs
1 envelope of yeast
Icing sugar


Place the plums in a saucepan over soft flame along with the brandy until it boils dry. Mash the plums with a spoon.

Whisk the eggs with the sugar until they are creamy. Add the chocolate and butter, melted in the microwave. Also add the plums, flour and yeast, together and sifted. Whip well and add the egg whites to stiff peaks. Try to keep the volume.

Place everything in a round dusted mold. Cook in an oven preheated to 340° F for 45 minutes. Once it is cooked let it sit for a few minutes inside the oven and open it carefully little by little.

Remove, allow cooking and garnish with icing and plums.
