Simple Rice Pudding Recipe

1/2 glass of rice
5 cups of whole milk
1/2 stick cinnamon
Lemon rind in four pieces
Powdered cinnamon
6 tbsp of sugar


Boil the milk with the rind and cinnamon stick. In a separate saucepan boil the rice with water for 5 minutes. Remove the water and pour on the milk while it is boiling. Stir every now and then for 1/2 hour.

Once it is cooked add 6 tbsp of sugar and boil for a while longer. Turn over onto a shallow dish and garnish with powdered cinnamon. It can be served warm or left in the fridge for a couple of hours.
